(MORRISTOWN, NJ) June 9, 2025 — Nicholas M. DAmbrosio, Ph.D., GISP, Founder and CEO of NOMADICS, has been awarded the 2025 Business and Community Service Award from the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. This award is presented to an organization with an exceptional record of serving its community by supporting local organizations, employee volunteerism, and contributing to the economic and social well-being of Morris County. DAmbrosio accepted this award on behalf of NOMADICS.
“We came to Morris County with big goals and this community helped us achieve them,” said DAmbrosio, “From Day One, the Morris County business community made us feel right at home at Headquarters Plaza and the Chamber has been a key resource in our journey.”
NOMADICS was founded in 2006 as Nomad Geomatics, offering services for environmental remediation, construction, and workplace safety. Today, NOMADICS employs more than 25 full time employees around the country, maintains a national network of subject matter experts, and has emerged as a leader in geospatial intelligence for public, private, and government clients. NOMADICS helps Federal, State, Municipal, and Defense leaders make better-informed decisions for mission-critical projects.
The award was given during the Morris County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Spring Classic. Rainy weather couldn’t dampen the spirits of the business and community leaders that participated in support of the Chamber’s best-in-class programming. Mr. DAmbrosio received the award from Morris County Chamber President Meghan Hunscher at a reception following the Classic.
