Science, Engineering, and Technology Firm Announces Rebrand as it Celebrates 15 Years in Business
(MORRISTOWN, NJ) October 1, 2021 – The Nomad Group, a nationally-recognized GIS and technology solutions provider for the public, private and defense sectors, has completed an extensive rebranding effort in response to its 15 year anniversary and a fresh corporate vision. At the heart of the rebranding is a simplification of the company’s name to NOMADICS and a refresh of the corporate logo.

And what better place to reflect this renewed focus than in our name and logo.”
The science, engineering, and technology firm is currently headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey with field offices in Newport, Rhode Island and Jacksonville, Florida. NOMADICS plans to add additional field offices along the East Coast in service of existing and prospective clients and partners. Historically, NOMADICS has also operated field offices in Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, South Carolina, Washington D.C., United Arab Emirates, and other locations.

Founded as Nomad Geomatics, the organization began with a focus on using GIS data to aid in environmental remediation. After being called in for high-profile clean-ups like the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill and the ExxonMobil Silvertip Pipeline oil leak, Nomad added additional project management, disaster relief, and defense engineering services and became The Nomad Group in 2012.
Today, NOMADICS offers a range of intelligence, consulting, and strategy services ranging from GIS, IT and data analytics to specialized system engineering. Most recently, as part of its Project: Sure Shot initiative, NOMADICS developed interactive real-time dashboards to track the spread of COVID-19 for public health officials in more than 10 states.
